1 onion, chopped
3 T. butter
1/2 red sweet pepper, chopped
1 can (10-1/2 oz.) minced clams, drained
1/4 pound processed cheese(cut into small pieces)
1/4 cup catsup
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 T. Sherry
In a double boiler, melt the butter. Add the onion and red
pepper; saute. Add remaining ingredients. Cook in top of double boiler until
the cheese is melted. Stir occasionally.
Serve with crackers or melba toast. More cheese can be added to make a thicker spread.
