1 dozen minced clams
1/4 cup clam liquid
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons melted butter
pepper to taste
salt to taste
1 cup sifted flour



Mix flour, salt and pepper in bowl. Add clam liquid, eggs and milk. Mix well until batter is smooth. Then add clams and butter.

Drop batter by tablespoons into hot oil; fry until golden brown. Can be served plain or with tartar sauce.
