2 cups chopped clams (reserve juice)
2 cups Half & Half
4 slices bacon, diced
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 T. green pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 large carrot, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 T. Worchestershire sauce



In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Add potatoes, green onion, green pepper, celery, carrot and garlic. Pour in water, add salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

In a separate pan, heat clams in their juice. Add clams to the vegetables, then add Half & Half. Stir until well blended. Heat until hot, but do not boil. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
